MECCAD – SmartPress
For Meccad, we designed an industrial smart press tailored to the demanding medical and watchmaking sectors, where precision, reliability, and perceived quality are paramount.
The project revolved around an in-depth consideration of embedded technology integration, ensuring a clear, readable, and scalable architecture. Special attention was given to the overall product ergonomics to guarantee intuitive and safe use.
The main objective was to optimize the user experience, particularly during assembly, operation, and maintenance phases, with a specific focus on production line constraints. The design thus helps improve operational efficiency, reduce intervention times, and enhance Meccad’s technological image in high-value markets.
ALKAPOM – IoT Sensor
For the company Alkapom, we designed their first IoT product dedicated to predictive maintenance, combining technological innovation and accessibility. A nod to the general practitioner.
The project aimed to create a showcase product, positioning Alkapom in the market with a clear and distinctive value proposition based on the low cost / high impact concept. We developed a strong, easily recognizable visual language that reflects the product’s efficiency and modernity while keeping integration and production costs under control.
The design approach was conceived to enhance the product’s functional and commercial appeal, facilitate its adoption, and create an intuitive user experience, thereby highlighting Alkapom’s technological innovation to clients and partners.
EPFL R&D – Data Acquisition Card
The main objective was to showcase the potential of their technology by translating a complex scientific project into a tangible, clear, and understandable object. The design was conceived to facilitate communication with investors and partners, making the technology immediately accessible while highlighting its innovation and impact potential.
This comprehensive approach, applied at the research stage, strongly supports the transfer of technology from universities to industry by creating a physical artifact that showcases the laboratory’s expertise and reinforces its credibility in the market and with target industry players.
BROD-X – Sustainable Textile System
We partnered with Brod-X to bring clarity and design direction to a highly innovative circular textile solution that transforms discarded textiles into new, ready-to-use fabric. With a complete process running entirely without water or chemicals, they are challenging conventional manufacturing models.
Our role was to support the project at a strategic stage of its development, by structuring its product vision and enhancing how their technology is communicated to key stakeholders. Through a design-driven approach, we translated their innovation into a compelling and accessible story, aligned with the expectations of the company and industry partners.
Rêves·Bleus – Medical Haptic Earpiece Case
We partnered with our client to realize a powerful vision, born from a simple observation: the difficulty of finding and identifying custom-made hearing protection in total darkness or the middle of the night.
Building on our client’s daily experience and original concept, we co-developed Reves·Bleus, a haptic case that makes it possible to intuitively distinguish the left device from the right, purely by touch.
The primary objective was to design an accessible and refined solution, whether at home or on the go. The final concept is compatible with all types of custom passive hearing protection, delivering an optimal user experience for everyone, including people with visual impairments.
